Rebecca Dyson's story began in Hong Kong in November 1966. Being the second youngest child in her family, she grew up surrounded by social and political conflict. Violence and uncertainty compelled Rebecca to leave Hong Kong and China as a whole. Despite living her whole life in Hong Kong, her aspirations for a better life led her to immigrate to Boston, Massachusetts. There she overcame struggles and now leads a successful life living the American dream.
