Raising two children in Needham, Paula wanted them to have the whole American experience while still appreciating their Greek heritage. Growing up, both children were told it didn't matter if they married Greek individuals because their children would always be shown their Greek culture through Paula. Coincidentally, both children married Greeks. After reflecting upon her legacy, Paula recognized she wanted her children to understand there was no divide between her Greek and American cultures.
