How We Teach Math

We teach students about the growth mindset in all areas, but it can be especially helpful in mathematics. Here is information for parents on growth mindset and how to support your children in developing this important learning belief. 

Why we don't go straight to the standard algorithm:

Videos demonstrating alternatives to the standard algorithms for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Although we do not use the Everyday Mathematics program, our students do solve problems using these algorithms.
