All About Mrs. Lansdale

I grew up in Central New York, the oldest of four children.  I loved being in charge and I knew from an early age that I wanted to be a teacher.  I attended Colgate University and later moved to the Boston area where I received my Masters of Education & Literacy Specialist certification at Lesley University.

I began my teaching career at Milton Academy in a 2nd grade classroom.  In 2013, I was hired as the K-2 Literacy Specialist at Newman Elementary. I transitioned to Mitchell in 2016 as a Literacy Coach and decided to return to the classroom in 2019.  This is my sixth year teaching 1st grade and I am beyond excited!!

Outside of school I enjoy reading, cooking, going to the beach and spending time with my husband, Ted and our children: Charlie (17 years old), Jane (14 years old) and Ben (9 years old).
