About the Teacher

Hello, fifth graders! My name is Mrs. Santos, and I am so excited to be your teacher.  I am very much looking forward to learning with and about you this school year.  Here are some quick facts about what makes me unique:

• • I grew up in Rehoboth, MA with my parents and my sister.

  • I received my Bachelor of Arts in Music and my Bachelor of Education in Elementary Ed from Westfield State University, and my Masters from Bridgewater State University.

  • I have been a classroom teacher for 22 years in third grade and fifth grade.

  • I live with my family in Attleboro, which is a little far from Needham! 

  • I have three awesome children, Mason, Liam, and Evie.

  • My favorite thing to do is to go on adventures with my family.  We go on a lot of trips to local places like zoos, museums, libraries, concerts, beaches and pools... we really like to go out, especially if it's for food (like ice cream!) I also love to read and travel.  My favorite books are the Harry Potter series, and the furthest place I have traveled to is China.   I am a huge Disney fan!

I can't wait to learn more about you and what makes you special!  We are going to have a terrific year together.
