Q: What if students come to school without an ID Badge?

A: If a student does not have their ID Badge they can be manually entered by the Operator. To manually log a student’s attendance (high school) and issue a temporary ID, the operator will search for the student record by typing in last name or the Student ID into the search fields, hit Enter, and then double-click on the student’s name. If a student does not have his/her card (6-12), teachers will need to manually select the student in Scholar Chip for classroom attendance. There are reports available to determine students who are frequently "cardless".
