Our expert team of passionate and skilled educators have identified and provided effective, engaging, and fun family learning activities to avoid the summer slide and learning loss.

Try using these strategies, tips, and tools during the summer months with your child to ensure that learning gaps don't begin or widen.

Reading is also essential to prevent summer learning loss and promote the success of your child, so please visit the Newburgh Free Library at 124 Grand Street in Newburgh or the Town Branch at 1401 Route 300 (Newburgh Mall) in Newburgh. The library staff at these branches will help you pick out the perfect books for your family to enjoy and share during the summer.
