Hello!  My name is Mrs. Dorward.  This will be my 23rd year at NMS.  I love teaching and watching students grow in their own love of reading and writing.  Here is just a little bit of information about me!

I was born and raised in York County.  I attended Dallastown Area School District.   After High School graduation I went to Shippensburg University and then Penn State to get my Master's Degree in Teaching and Curriculum.  

I reside in Windsor Township with my husband, our 13-year-old daughter, and our 9-year-old son.  

We are a family of avid readers and hikers and have spent much of our summer participating in the Summer Reading Program through York Country Libraries and going hiking and camping (feel free to click through some pictures from our adventures over the past few years)!

Now that I have shared a little about myself, I am looking forward to learning about each of you throughout this year!
