New Member Application
All applications are due by Friday, October 3, 2025. Electronic or paper forms are acceptable. All electronic applications and letters of recommendation should be sent via email to fisherd@nebobcats.org
NOTE: Due to multiple staffing changes in the math department, students do NOT need to collect signatures from past math teachers in order to complete the application process.
Member Requirements
Attend at least one meeting per marking period.
Maintain an overall GPA of 87% or higher
Maintain a math course average of 93% or higher
Complete at least two of the following activities
* Offer peer tutoring at least once per marking period
* Participate in at least one math competition throughout the school year
* Participate in at least two fundraising events throughout the school year
Seniors must be enrolled in Personal Finance to fulfill graduation requirements. To remain in Mu Alpha Theta, seniors must also enroll in at least one additional math course. The only exception to this rule is that students who completed AP Calculus BC during their junior year do not need to complete an additional math course senior year to remain eligible.

Meeting Agendas/Presentations
Induction Ceremony
We will recognize students from Fall 2025 at the induction ceremony on Thursday, November 6 at 6:00 PM in the High School Auditorium. There will be light refreshments served in the Commons after the ceremony. All officers are expected to attend. All members will be recognized at the ceremony with presentation of a membership certificate from the national office or a certificate of continued membership from Mrs. Fisher.

To receive credit for participation, please bring a copy of receipts from the date of the dine-in. You can also screen-shot an online order receipt for credit.
Paint Night 5:30 - 8:30
Tickets cost $35. Any Mu Alpha Theta member who sells at least one ticket may also participate in the paint night event at a reduced rate of $15.
