Math and Reading Website

Dear Parents,

We have a new great online programs for students to use at home and at school. We are using i-Ready Math and Reading. Both of these programs give the student a diagnostic test to determine what they know and what they need to learn. After that, both programs will give the students activities and lessons to teach them the concepts they need to know in a fun and inviting way. Both of these programs send important information back to me when they complete a task or are struggling with a concept. I will use this information to guide and enhance my teaching.

If your child asks you for help, just encourage him/her to do his/her best and mark what they think the best answer is. Giving them too much help will skew the feedback that I get from the program. I can use this information to guide my instruction so that each student will succeed.

Here is the login information so that your student can use these programs at home. The log in for the reading and the math is the same. Once your student logs in, they will have the option to choose either math or reading.

Username: First part of their email address

Password: Student’s lunch number.

(There is an i-Ready app if you are using a tablet.)
