Class overview
This year we will be focusing on obtaining growth mindsets. This includes using mistakes as tools, increasing open mindedness, and increasing our own stamina. Along with that, a growth mindset includes collecting strategies, and problem solving. I hope as we grow into growth mindsets, your students will find they are capable of great success both in school and in life.
Meet the Teacher!
Hello! My name is Rachel Hatch and I am so excited to be your child's teacher this school year! This will be my first year teaching and I am absolutely ecstatic to be teaching 2nd grade!! I hope this year yields a love of learning, fun, and lots of growth!
A little about me, I am married to a great guy named Brandon! Together we have a golden retriever named Zion, and two cats named Juniper and Ned! In my free time I enjoy reading, taking my dog on hikes, anything crafty/art related, and weightlifting.
I have a great feeling about this school year and can't wait to meet each one of you! My hope for this year is that we can work together to help your children obtain lifelong skills and growth mindsets!
