The Training Needs Assessment (TNA) of the National Educators Academy of the Philippines (NEAP) is a structured process used to identify the professional development needs of teachers and school leaders across the country. It helps determine what kinds of training or learning interventions are most relevant and necessary based on actual gaps in knowledge, skills, and competencies.

NEAP uses this assessment to:

• Align training programs with the Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers (PPST).

• Support career progression by identifying areas for growth at different stages of a teacher’s or leader’s career.

• Ensure that professional development is data-driven, targeted, and responsive to the evolving needs of educators.
