The iPost can be recognised as a green sphere in the model and shall stay visible until the issue is solved. The management of the issue shall be done in Relatics and can easily be synchronized using the iBIM connector within Revit and/or Navisworks Manage.
In the iBIM Connector window, click on the "Home" button
Select "iConnect" or "iPost"
Navigate to the "Create" tab and click on the "Create iPost" button links on the ribbon
Specify a title and description in the pop-up window of the iPost
Link the iPost to an element in Relatics by selecting the appropriate instance in the dropdown list (this step is optional)
Validate by clicking OK
To make sure you selected the correct element (eg if several instances have the same name), click on the "Zoom to" button
The CAD software will center its current view on the selected element
If you have linked the iPost to a Relatics element, the iBIM connector will automatically place the iPost marker (a green sphere) on the CAD drawing.
If you have not linked the iPost to a Relatics element or if you want to place the marker on another spot on the CAD drawing, click on the "Pick" button
As a result the connector window minimizes and let you indicate (by clicking) the appropriate spot for the marker on the CAD drawing
The iBIM connector picks automatically the corresponding coordinate and reopens the Create iPost window
Validate by clicking on OK
The marker is created and added to the CAD drawing
The iPost homepage displays an overview of the existing iPosts
Navigate to the "Home" button and click on "iPost"
The left part of the screen displays an overview of the existing iPosts while the right part displays a detailed view (data imported from Relatics) of the selected iPost
iPosts being compatible with the BCF file format, the iBIM connector allows you to export iPosts as *.BCFzip files
In the iPost Module, navigate to the data tab and click on the "Export to BCF" button located on the ribbon
Select the appropriate folder in which store the file and validate
