Import connections

Automatic Import

In the iBIM Connector window, Select and right-click on a random element in the tree.

Select "Data".

Click on "Import Connections from Relatics".

Select the targeted source file(s).

A pop-up shows the new imported connections as well as the updated existing ones.

Save or close the import results.

Open the related CAD file, save it in Navisworks as *.nwf file and run the iBIM Connector.

In the iBIM Connector window, Right-click on a random element of the tree.

Select "Import/Export".

Click on "Import Connections from Relatics", or

In the iConnect module, click on the "Import" button located in the ribbon of the tab Data.

In the Browser, select the XML file exported from Revit (or any other CAD software) containing the connections you want to import.

A pop-up shows the new imported connections

Save or close the import results window
