In this section is explained how the iBIM connector can change codes of Relatics As-Designed elements. This can be done all at once or for elements that don't have a code yet. It is also possible to change/update the names of Relatics As-Designed elements.
In this section is explained how the iBIM connector can change codes of Relatics As-Designed elements. This can be done all at once or for elements that don't have a code yet. It is also possible to change/update the names of Relatics As-Designed elements.
In the main ribbon the user can find the "Change All Codes / Names" button. This button is mainly used for creating, changing- or updating all the codes or names of Revit elements in Relatics at once.
After clicking the "Change All Codes / Names" button there are two main- and respectively two- and one sub options:
Create / change codes of Relatics As-Designed Elements
Only Elements which don't have codes yet
Create codes per Zone
Change / update the names of Relatics As-Designed Elements
Pull down menu to show the way the codes should look like:
Parent Name -> shows only the Parent Name (example: Lounge (no code))
Parent Name (n) -> shows the Parent Name and a one-digit code (example: Lounge 1)
Parent Name (nnn) -> shows the Parent Name and a three-digit code (example: Lounge 001)
The codes shall be updated both in Revit / Navisworks as in Relatics.
