Currently I teach for a public charter school in Alameda, CA. I teach 4th grade homeroom and 3rd, 4th and 5th grade math. I am honored to be a part of a school which embraces project-based learning and focuses on technology integration. My learners are pioneers. They explore content and apply their knowledge. Our school offers art, music and electives to students. We also offer engaging and relevant field trips and field studies. For example, fourth graders learn about San Francisco in the 1900s by attending an overnight "Age of Sail" program. This program is run by the SF Maritime Museum and focuses on teamwork.
