Everyone is welcome at the ceremony for the awards and scholarships presentation, an exhibition of winning art & writing (on display in the Starion gallery from February 15 to March 8), inspiring guest artist speakers, and refreshments!
The Scholastic Awards are the most prestigious art and writing competition in the country. The RRVWP, in partnership with the Plains Art Museum, coordinates the Art & Writing Awards for the entire state of North Dakota. North Dakota teens can submit their writing HERE from early September through mid-December.

NDSU creative writing professor (and RRVWP teacher consultant) Jamee Larson hosts a writing group EVERY MONDAY at 5:30-7:30 PM for writers of all ages and ability levels. The group meets in Minard Hall Room 214 (NDSU campus).
