We are a computationally driven lab leveraging state-of-the-art technologies to explore fundamental questions in crop biology and genetics and to build more resilient agricultural systems. Our research is guided by a 3R framework — Response Omics, Response Modeling, and Response Phenotyping — that integrates multi-omics, artificial intelligence and computational modeling, and advanced phenotyping to uncover the genetic, molecular, and physiological mechanisms underlying crop variation, development, and responses to environmental challenges. We pursue both curiosity-driven discoveries and application-oriented research, seeking to understand how biological systems work while translating fundamental insights into innovations that enhance crop stress resilience, resource-use efficiency, and the long-term sustainability of agriculture.
