Our research goal is to explore and understand how three key components of an anti-corrosion coating work together at the nanoscale: pigments, the polymer network that supports them, and the metal surface they cover.
By studying these interactions, we aim to gain insights into how nanoparticles interact with a polymer network. These findings deepen our understanding of material behavior, lead to innovative methods to prevent corrosion, and help develop safer, more efficient products with less environmental impact.
Ultimately, our goal is to create new platforms for using nanoparticles to improve coating designs for applications in energy, health, and environmental protection.
