I’m Becky Buchanan and I’m so excited to join the kindergarten team at NDS this year. I have been a teacher for 31 years. Most of that time was in 2nd grade, 1st grade, Mobile Pre-K (Bust’r Bus) ,and with IDD adults at JIRDC.
I am licensed in Elementary Education, Pre-k, EC-Adapted Curriculum and School Administration.
When I’m away from school I enjoy reading, music, movies, cooking, sewing, and riding trains with my husband and son.
Ms. Kelsey Buff- K002
My name is Kelsey Buff, and I’m thrilled to begin my first year as a kindergarten teacher.I hold an Associate in Arts degree as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I have a strong passion for early literacy and believe in creating a classroom environment where learning is both meaningful and fun. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy crocheting, reading, drawing, and spending time with my family. I’m excited to work together with you this year to support your child’s growth and success.
Mrs. Bailey Cook- K003
My name is Bailey Cook, I graduated from Lenoir- Rhyne University in 2015 with my B.A. in Elementary Education. I have wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember, so this is a dream come true for me! This will be my 11th year teaching. I am so excited to learn and grow with my students. Outside of school I enjoy being with my family, my dog, and traveling to new places.
Ms. Rebecca Bolick- K004
My name is Rebecca Bolick. I graduated from Western Carolina University with a B.S. in Birth to Kindergarten. I have been working in education for 18 years and I am super excited to be at NDS this year as a Kindergarten teacher. I am a proud mom of three amazing boys. Their names are Waylon, Chandler, and Bryson. My boys are involved in football, basketball and baseball in their high school and middle school. On the weekends you will find us either playing travel ball or on the 4wheeler race track.
I believe that to foster a child's potential, one must provide a safe and fun learning environment. I believe that parent involvement and communication is key to your child's success.
