Mrs. Lisa Ervin

Mrs. Ervin grew up in Morganton before attending college at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte. This is her 35 year in education. Before becoming the Director of NDS, she served as the Exceptional Children’s Director. Mrs. Ervin was a teacher and school administrator before coming to NDS.  She received her Bachelor's degree at University of North Carolina- Charlotte, master degree in Special Education from Appalachian University, and a master degree in School Administration from Grand Canyon University. 

Mrs. Ervin is married to her husband Chris. They have two children, Braxton and Kourtney. She enjoys spending time with her family, cruising, reading, and watching college football. 

Mrs. Ervin has a love for her students and wants them to be successful, happy, and ready to learn each day they come to school. She feels strongly about supporting her staff in order for them to teach each child.
