In the summer of 2018, my classmates and I traveled to our sister school, San Silvestre, in Lima, Peru. While there I stayed with Fernanda, a student at the school. I explored Lima through the different neighborhoods, artwork, food, and attending classes with Fernanda. We then traveled to Caral, the site of an ancient civilization and the Amazon Rainforest. My eyes were opened to how globalized the world is becoming, and inspired me to peruse an international business degree with a Spanish minor in college.
