Siwei received his B.S. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2014. He then pursued his research on energy transfer in light-harvesting complexes under the guidance of Prof. Gregory Scholes at Princeton University, where he obtained his Ph.D. degree. From 2020 to 2024, he continued his academic journey as a Postdoctoral researcher, working on macroscopic quantum electrodynamics with Prof. Liang-Yan Hsu at the Institute of Atomic and Molecular Sciences, Academia Sinica. In 2025, Siwei joined the Theta group, where he focuses on light-matter interactions and molecular exciton dynamics.
Robbie received his B.S. in Chemistry from Pensacola Christian College in Pensacola, Florida. He joined the Theta group in 2022. His research interests include polariton chemistry and cavity QED.
Shravan received his Bachelor degree in PCM from MLSU, Udaipur and Master degree in chemistry from IIT Bombay, India. He joined the Theta group in 2022. His research interests include NQE using semiclassical methods and interfacial energy exchange using quantum simulations. His hobbies include watching sci-fi movies and reading spiritual scriptures.
Guangming received his B.S. in Chemistry from Lanzhou University in 2021. Then he continued his research in non-adiabatic molecular dynamics at Westlake University. He joined the Theta group in 2022. His research interests include non-adiabatic dynamics and electron transfer processes.
Wei-Kuo received his B.S. and M.S. in Physics from National Taiwan University. He joined the Theta group in 2023. His research interests are statistical mechanics and quantum optics for molecular systems. His hobbies include movies and soccer.
Zach received his B.S. in chemistry from Grace College in Winona Lake, IN in 2019. After taking a short break from academia, he returned in 2022, receiving a M.S. in chemistry from Western Kentucky University in the spring of 2024 before joining the Theta group in the fall. His research interests include statistical mechanics and electronic structure as they relate to biomolecular folding. In his spare time, Zach enjoys strategy games and Notre Dame football.
Pauline is an undergraduate researcher in the group in 2024.
Charlize was a high school student joining the group for summer research opportunities at the University of Notre Dame (sponsored by ND Energy).
