John Broden is Circuit Court Judge for St. Joseph County, Indiana. He served as State Senator for the 10th District of Indiana from 2000-2016, and was a practicing attorney with the firm Leone Halpin, LLP, focusing on Adoption law and Social Security Disability. He previously served as Deputy City Attorney for the City of South Bend from 2001 to 2012. Prior to his election to the Senate, John served on the South Bend City Council and as the City Attorney for the City of South Bend. A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, John earned his law degree from Indiana University in Bloomington.

Judy Shroyer returns to coach a John Adams mock trial team after a hiatus of 13 years. She is currently the executive assistant in the St. Joseph County Circuit Court. Previously she was a paralegal in the Litigation Department in the South Bend office of Barnes & Thornburg, LLP for 15 years. Before that she served as bailiff to the Hon. John M. Marnocha when he first took the bench. She served as a caseworker and paralegal under the Hon. Michael P. Barnes during his term as the Prosecuting Attorney for St. Joseph County. Judy earned a B.A. in History and Radio & Television from Indiana University, Bloomington, and a Paralegal Certificate from Indiana University at South Bend.
