Join us as we "crawl across town," to tour successful tech companies, learn about various jobs and opportunities in computer science, and network with top industry professionals.  What better way to help students prepare for jobs of the future, than experience them for yourself!

Participants will tour Astrobotics, Diamond Kinetics, and Aurora to learn which positions make up their workforce, how to prepare students for these careers, and what is trending in these "tech hot spots."   

Monday Night will be a Technology & Education Networking Event at 6pm. 

A $100 stipend is available to participants upon completion of the required evaluation/activity and travel will be reimbursed through PA Smart Grant from Millersville University, so all PA Educators from around the state are invited! 10 hours of ACT 48 credit will be included.  We have reached program capacity for this event.

CLOSED TOE SHOES ARE REQUIRED FOR VISITING ALL JOB SITES. 

This is an amazing summer opportunity to connect with technology industries in the downtown Pittsburgh area.  If you've attended a recent C4C a division of the National Center for Women in Information Technology event, you know the demand for jobs in computer science is high, yet the amount of students pursuing these careers is at a record low.  The other challenge is getting girls, genderqueer, non-binary, students of color and other underrepresented populations to realize their value in this industry.

This program is provided in partnership with PATTAN, Millersville University PA Smart Grant, and with the help of the Pittsburgh Tech Council.
