We aim to pursue professional excellence and a quality standard system to serve our community's needs. Glin National College brings fairness and a high moral ethic to deliver all its services.
The tutor will explain the Glin National College conduct policy to all learners at the start of the first class. Glin National College will not tolerate harassment and will deal with it in conjunction with our Quality Assurance procedures. Please help us maintain Glin National College's outstanding reputation as a warm and inviting centre.
All Glin National College-certified private courses follow, where possible, standard testing and grading policies to ensure all learners are assessed fairly. All awards courses follow the marking system we developed for our QQI-validated courses.
All of our assessment principles directly adhere to our quality control procedures. If an appeal is requested, we carry out the first level of appeal. The appeal will be reviewed and reassessed if it relates to one of Glin National College's private courses. Learners requiring the return of their portfolio after assessment must make this request to the Tutor at the start of the course. The appeals form is available here
The Glin National College Complaints Procedure offers learners or members of the public a conduit who wish to complain to Glin National College regarding our services. Glin National College's policy is to deal with all complaints fairly and follow the principles of natural fairness and equality. This policy covers all types of complaints, not just bullying or harassment. Complainants should raise their concerns as soon as possible. The Gardai will be contacted immediately if the conduct complained about is violent or criminal. The complaints form is available here
Glin National College will facilitate all staff and learners' needs to the best of our ability. Please let us know of any special needs requests you may have before starting your course.
