This tester measures the biaxial mechanical properties of cylindrical specimens, such as blood vessels and lymphatic vessels.
This tester, on the other hand, measures the biaxial mechanical properties of planar specimens such as skin and pericardium. It can be used to characterize uniaxial mechanical properties of soft materials.
