2024 The Fifth Taiwan International Conference on Geometry

R515, Cosmology Bldg., NTU , Taipei

Aim & Scope

This conference is a series of biennial international conferences on Differential Geometry in Taiwan. An important area in Geometry will be specified as the main theme each time. Our purpose is to create a discussion and interaction platform in the chosen area, and at the same time to foster future co-operations and introduce new people into the field.  The topic for the first conference is “Special Lagrangians and Related Topics", the topic for the second conference is “Geometry and General Relativity”, the topics for the third conference is “Conformal Geometry, CR structures, and Minimal Submanifolds and the topics of the fourth conference is around submanifold theories including Min-Max, regularity, MCF, Alan-Cahn equation, and etc.

The Fifth Taiwan International Conference on Geometry will be held at the NCTS from January 15 to 19, 2024, Taipei, Taiwan and with two mini-courses on January 12 and 14, 2024. The topics of the conferences include the main research topics in geometric analysis such as General Relativity, Minimal Submanifolds and Geometric Evolution Equations. Each mini-course is expected to consist of two 1.5-hour lectures on a topic related to the most recent research of the speakers.

This conference was originally scheduled to be held from December 16 to 22, 2020, and was dedicated to the celebration of Professor Schoen’s 70th birthday and his mathematical accomplishments. But it was delayed due to Covid-19.
