Students should be filming their video projects. All videos are due on Thursday, May 2 for students in BD classes and Friday, May 3 for students in AC classes.
About Music Class
About Music Class
This school year music class will focus on popular music through critical literacy. Students will write and perform original song lyrics, play instruments, and create videos in our quest to answer the following Essential Questions:
- Why do we write music?
- How does music elicit emotion?
- How do music and history influence each other?

Students have been working on a creative response to the Black Eyed Peas' song "Where is the Love?" They used critical literacy to analyze the song, wrote a partner verse, and created a background track on Soundation. To the right you'll find one group's finished product!
