The VT Dept. of Health requires all restaurants to designate a person in charge who is a certified food protection manager. Meet this important requirement with a ServSafe® certification exam! You will learn the importance of food safety and how to prevent the spread of pathogens within a food service facility.
Funding is available if qualified. (Most Qualify)
Our goal is to demonstrate how individuals or families can stretch a single meal over several days, making it more cost-effective and sustainable.
The class is taught by Chef Jason Marcoux.
Monday, March 10: Corned Beef Dinner, with ideas for using leftovers in a flavorful corned beef hash.
Monday, April 14: Ham Dinner with Sides, plus creative ways to use leftovers in dishes like ham and cheese macaroni or hearty pea soup.
Monday, May 12: "Marry Me" Chicken Dinner served over rice, with tips on turning leftovers into a chicken and rice casserole.
