Emerald Pastures Farmstead is located in Wilkes County in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We offer forest-raised pork, raw honey, eggs, and an all-natural balm using the beeswax from our bees and lard from our pigs. We strive to produce food in a way that’s “good for the land, animals, and people.” We believe that the best way to do that is through regenerative practices, which include rotationally grazing our pigs and chickens through a mix of forest and pasture. This method of management is what’s most beneficial to the soil, keeps the animals happiest, and is the healthiest (and tastiest) option for people.
