"From Garden to Table"
Purpose
"The WIC Community Garden was created in February 2020 with a goal to reduce food insecurity by providing a space for educational experiences through hands-on learning opportunities. These two organizations are leveraging this collaboration to provide nutrition education, proper food safety demonstrations and opportunities to increase confidence in the participant's ability to grow their own food at home.
The WIC Community Garden is a 10 planter box educational space located outside the Yadkin Human Services building.
