Dr. Sarah Egan Warren will demo her interactive Tableau dashboards that she uses with her students to improve their in-person, hybrid, and online presentation skills. The dashboard serves two purposes: 1) to visualize feedback in a way that is actionable for the students and 2) to allow the instructor to track trends and sort by areas needing improvement. Although focused on presentation skills, using Tableau to visualize feedback/grades is applicable for any discipline.

However, choice, access, and ability to plan effective learning strategies are critical components of a successful learning experience. In this session, we collaboratively define executive functions, access needs, and self-regulation to share strategies for supporting accessibility and performance monitoring that can be implemented in various courses.
An Introduction to 3-D Scanning

A quick introduction to the way we capture 3d objects through photogrammetry and LIDAR, and some reflections and thoughts about the uses of 3d content captured from the real world for classroom use. By the end of the session participants will have a better understanding of the process of 3D object capture, knowledge of what subjects make good candidates for the process, and insight into some of the uses of the technology in classrooms and for distance education.
