Go beyond the conference walls and experience firsthand how the Kenan Fellows Program for Teacher Leadership connects classrooms to careers through its community and industry partnerships.
Each two-hour visit takes you to a community or industry partner located within an hour of the conference. You'll get an inside look at their work, a tour of the space, and a clear picture of the skills and knowledge employers need students to have when they enter the workforce.
The goal is simple: see the skills you already teach in action, and then take that perspective back to your classroom. Whether it's sparking a new driving question, launching a PBL project, or deepening a community partnership, these visits are designed to make your teaching more relevant, more connected, and more impactful for students.
Get a description of each visit by clicking on the individual tiles. View an expanded/larger window view by clicking on the icon above.
Each registered conference participant will attend one site visit based on preferences selected during conference registration (and site capacity). A schedule of the site visits and specific dress code/safety requirements will be sent to participants in mid-July.
