Generators are in need now, while also being expensive items to buy.
If you donate at least $50 to this generator fund, and do NOT do so anonymously, then you can get a barn-quilt-inspired tote bag designed by me and made by hand!
Please fill out this form if you have donated and would like a tote bag. You can pick up one of the three pictured tote bag at the NC State Wilson College of Textiles Prototype Lab (room 1103) on Friday, October 11th between 8:00am and 5:00pm. If you're local, but cannot make it to that location at that time, please indicate so on the form.
With love,
Bailey Knight

Back design on each tote bag: "Power to the Mountains" inside of a red generator
Funds will go into purchasing high-wattage generators and accessories (like extension cords) by Saturday, October 12th, which I will be picking up and delivering to the RUMAH Raleigh warehouse in preparation for their immediate deliver to Bakersville, NC. This is so that community members can have power for their essentials. There is currently no timeline for when power will be back online in this area.
This fundraiser is organized with the help of community members in Bakersville, Winston-Salem, and Raleigh, with the help of the Raleigh United Mutual Aid Hub.
