You can complete applications for NC colleges in CFNC. Enter the Application Hub to search for your college and then apply.
To start this process, simply hover over the "Apply" tab and select "Application Hub".
Once you arrive in the Application Hub you will be able to select the college you would like to apply to.
When selecting the application, make sure to choose the Freshman or Undergraduate application, as some colleges will also have their Graduate application as an option.
Like the Common App, CFNC will have a college's information available to ensure students are aware of required material and the college's contact information. Read over this and then move on to the next tab.
As you work on the application, each tab will receive a check mark once all required information is submitted to ensure you do not miss anything. You will not be able to submit an application until all tabs are checked off.
Once you are ready to submit your application you will be asked about your payment information. As a Upward Bound student you will receive fee waivers for college applications, so make sure to contact Mr. Baxter to request one ; or log onto your Collegeboard account.
Not all colleges will have "Fee Waiver" as a payment option, so you will instead need to select "Check or Money Order" so that you can submit it. Afterwards, you will mail (or email) your fee waiver to admissions at each college you apply to
Sending your transcript has never been easier!CFNC allows you to send your official transcript electronically via the Transcript Manager.
Sending your transcript through CFNC will also help you in June when your college requests your FINAL official transcript. CFNC will automatically send it out for you as soon as it's ready, this way you don't have to worry about sending it manually.
Make sure you have your name, NC Student Number, date of birth, etc. correct or your transcript may not send successfully. You can select multiple schools at one when requesting your transcript.
If your transcript does not send successfully and all your information is correct, reach out to Mr. Baxter to receive assistance.
