Spring 2026 OPS 1 Announcements
The Spring OPS 1 application is now closed and will not reopen until the Fall semester. This semester's Panopto recordings will be uploaded to this site as they occur.
This semester, IEEE at NC State has partnered with DigiKey, an electronics supplier (who you're probably familiar with by now!) to provide many of the components in each OPS 1 electronics kit. If you're in the need of components for other ECE courses or your own projects, be sure to check out their catalog!

All OPS Students are expected to join this Discord server; it's where we post course announcements and hold virtual office hours.
Click below to join the server—be sure to give yourself the OPS1 Student Role (via the Channels & Roles menu) after joining:
You will need to create a (free) Discord account if you don't already have one (it shouldn't take more than 5 minutes and all you need to provide is an email address). Remember, if you want to use this Discord account after you graduate from NCSU, you should probably use your personal email when creating it!
