I'm interested in understanding and supporting adolescent wellbeing & equity in schools, with particular attention to critical consciousness development.
As a former high school teacher, I value the lived experiences of students and educators, which is why my interdisciplinary (developmental and educational) research is grounded in community-engaged approaches.
I'm proud to be a student parent and to advocate for pregnant and parenting students at NC State.
I will receive my PhD from NC State University in May 2024.
