Team

The project team consists of computer scientists, education researchers, psychologists, graphic artists, classroom teachers, and middle school students from around the states of North Carolina and Florida. This interdisciplinary team includes PI James Lester (Computer Science), co-PI Bradford Mott (Computer Science), and co-PI Kristy Boyer (Computer Science), who are engaged in research and development of game-based learning systems, intelligent tutoring systems, and intelligent multimodal interfaces for STEM education. Co-PI Eric Wiebe (STEM Education) specializes in science education with an emphasis on graphic-enhanced elementary and middle-grade science education and science notebooks.
