My name is John Kamanga, a holder of Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from North Carolina State University. I have over 10 years’ experience in programme development and management, with extensive hands-on experience in designing and implementing, monitoring and evaluation systems of development projects. I am a holder of a master’s degree in Rural development and Extension, and a BSs degree in Agricultural Sciences (Majoring in Aquaculture and Fisheries Science) both obtained from University of Malawi. I am currently pursuing my second Masters of Science in Global Health from Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, United Kingdom. My vision is to become a seasoned developmental researcher and programmer who applies locational intelligence in developmental concepts, to produce tailor made development programs which would bring meaningful change in Africa and Globally. Currently, I am working as a Monitoring, Evaluation, and GIS Specialist for USAID/Malawi, Office of Health, Population and Nutrition. My hobbies are swimming, reading books, hiking, basketball, baking, and road trips.
