4-H Summer Adventures 2022
STEAM ART Camp-CENTRAL Library (August 2-4)
Join N.C.Cooperative Extension 4-H and Forsyth County Public Library for a STEAM summer adventure. Come explore the concepts of color and light. Explore these foundational elements of art based on the research-based curriculum developed by Clifton Talor of UNCSA. Classes are facilitated by Jeffrey Cates of the NC Cooperative Extension. Leadership Academy- Central Library
Learn the skills to be an effective leader at school, at work, and in your community. You will learn about public speaking, debate, resume building, interview skills, and more. Each session builds on the previous ones so all are required to be attended to obtain a certificate of completion for the course. Participants do not have to be members of 4-H.
Ages: High School Students ( rising freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors)

Sewing camp- Forsyth County Cooperative Extension
Are you interested in sewing? This class is the perfect class for youth that are interested in learning to sew to those that just love sewing. This is a beginner-friendly summer session. This is a first-come, first-serve registration for participants. If there is a waitlist, you will be contacted in the order of your registration through 4-H Online. You must be a registered 4-H member in 4-H Online to register.

Robotics Camp- Lewisville Community Center
Come join 4-H to discover the world of robotics. We will build robots, code, and complete various challenges for the robots. This camp will be hosted at the Mary Alice Warren Community Center in Lewisville, NC. You must register in 4-H Online to attend the camp.
Ages: 8-12 years of age and 5-7 years of age

STEAM CAMP-Lewisville Community Center
Come explore how agriculture and STEAM can be used in our everyday lives. We will participate in different hands-on activities as it relates to the world of STEM. This camp will be hosted at the Mary Alice Warren Community Center in Lewisville, NC. You must register in 4-H Online to attend camp.
Ages: 8-12 years of age ( age will be based on Jan.1) and 5-7 Years of Age

Acres of adventure-Forsyth County Cooperative Extension
Come learn about how agriculture plays a significant part in your everyday life. We will explore how our everyday pleasures are influenced by the world of agriculture through different activities such as Ice Cream making, fruit electronics, tie-dye, and making our own paper. You must register in 4-H Online to attend.

4-H Investigates-Forsyth County Cooperative Extension
Do you have an interest in becoming a forensic scientist? or do you just love a good crime scene investigation? This is camp is for you. Come learn the ins and outs of a crime scene and explore what it may take to crack a case. The maximum number of registrants for this program is 20. You must register for this session in 4-H Online to attend. We will be transporting from Forsyth County to Davidson County daily.
Ages: Rising Middle School Students ( 6, 7, and 8th grade)
Dates: July 26-28, 2022
Time: 8:30 AM-4:30 PM ( * you must arrive at the office by 8:30 am so we can load the vans to leave the office)
Cost: $35.00 (covers t-shirt and lunch for the day) all funds must be paid by June 5
4-H Life Skills Camp-Forsyth County Cooperative Extension
This summer session is for youth, 9 and up to learn everyday life skills such as emergency preparedness, money management, car care, and more. This session is to help youth build confidence in assisting in various activities and equip them to solve real-world issues that they may encounter. It is never too early to learn how to maintain your everyday essentials.
Age: 9 and up
Dates: August 8-10, 2022
Time: 8: 30 AM-4:30 PM (* please arrive no later than 8:30 as we will load vans and transfer to the Guilford County)
Cost: $35.00 (include t-shirt and lunch)
Location: Forsyth County Cooperative Extension ( we will meet at the Forsyth County Office to load vans and participate in the program at the Guilford County Office)
