Schenck Forest 

This project focuses on studying the urbanization impact on Richland Creek in the Carl Alwin Schenck Memorial Forest, an NC State University research forest, adjacent to where the new global headquarters of Bandwidth, a Raleigh-based software company, which was under construction at the beginning of the study. The goal of the study is to determine whether water quality alterations due to urbanization found in previous studies are present at Richland Creek.
