Using the arts to start a constructive campus discussion on issues surrounding waste and consumption. Sustainability outreach often falls short because initiatives only catch the attention of people who have previous inclinations for sustainability. Visuals and figures often show only a logical and impersonal side of sustainability, which fail to consistently connect to people personally. We aim to reach those who would otherwise not associate themselves with sustainability due to stereotypes of sustainable lifestyles, religious beliefs, political affiliations, etc. Since sustainability is first and foremost a people issue, this event will use new mediums as an introduction to these topics.
