Visual Symptoms:
The plants first displayed a slight overall yellowing of the foliage, especially in the middle of the plant. The yellowing leaves had a more pronounced yellowing at the base of the leaflets. As symptoms progressed, the yellowing at the leaflet basal portion became more intense, and the yellowing intensified on newly expanding leaves. In advanced symptoms, the leaves became a very pale yellow in coloration, especially around the midrib and base of the leaflets (Cockson et al., 2019).
