Regulation 10.10.19 - Operation of Unmanned Aircraft Systems - If you are planning to fly on campus, including inside a building, you must have permission and need to review all of our regulations and information above. Approved pilots are required to submit a flight plan.
Drone Use in Federally Funded Projects - FAR 52.240-1 is a federal regulation designed to protect national security by prohibiting the use of drones from specific foreign entities in federally funded projects. Understanding the key dates and what is explicitly banned is the first step to ensuring compliance.

Anonymous UAS Safety Incident Reporting Form - Individuals who witness unsafe acts relating to UAS operations can submit this form without fear of repercussion or reprimand. Each submission will be investigated, assessed, and addressed upon receipt by the appropriate entity at NC State University.
