Nervous about attaining his dream job, he faces the interview of a lifetime as he is questioned on the decisions that brought him to this moment.
Why We Made It:
After listening to Talking Heads’ song “Once in a Lifetime” it got me thinking about the increasingly commonplace criteria Americans have fallen into with how structured our institutions, social expectations, and entire lives are. We, as seniors about to graduate from undergrad, are facing a pivotal moment where we must decide how to live our lives. Should we live for ourselves, should we live how society suggests we should, should we live on autopilot? These are the questions we ask when it comes to life, and it’s the questions this film asks you, the audience, to ponder. Combine that idea with a great co-writer, cameraman, group of actors, and sound extraordinaire, and you’ve got yourself one hell of a short.
