Step 1: Email classic_network@ncsu.edu to register your interest and confirm eligibility. Please include a brief description of your study/data.
Step 2: After receiving approval, register and become a certified user in Synapse.
Step 3: You will receive via email a link to submit a Data Intake Form on Sage Bionetwork's website. This information will be used to establish your study within their site.
Step 4: After your study is established in Synapse, you will be prompted to submit additional study documentation (data dictionaries, codebooks, instruments). These will be used by Sage Bionetworks to extract metadata at the measure/instrument level.
Step 5: You will be prompted to enter study-level metadata in a template provided by Sage Bionetworks.
Step 6: Review and approve the extracted measure/instrument-level metadata.
Step 7: Review and approve the Data Access Request workflow. This is the process by which external data users may request to use your study data. The DAR will first be drafted by the Sage Bionetworks team and then approved by you before any metadata is made publicly available.
After completing Step 7, your study's metadata will be made publicly available in the OpenDRaWeR portal!
