Cosmos - A Sky Full of Ghosts - Watch this episode of Cosmos and respond to the questions. This episode is roughly 45 minutes, but it is highly informative. Neil degrasse Tyson will explain how light travels in space and time. (Due April 13th)
Scattering of Light - Dovetailing off the Cosmos episode, Dr. Walter Lewin from MIT gives a lecture on Rayleigh and Mie scattering. He will explain and demonstrate why the sky is blue, clouds are white, and sunrises and sunsets are red. The entire video is about an hour and is filled with some basic physics topics. If you're at all interested I highly recommend it. I only need you, however, to watch between these minute marks: 27:52 - 44:06. (Due April 13th)
