Practicum

The 2021 SS-ASAS AQ Practicum will be hosted in a virtual format utilizing a combination of technologies. Teams will be paired with a moderator on Zoom as they rotate through the timed Practicum "Stations". There will be approximately 10-12 Stations in which the teams will answer a variety of questions related to animal science activities. Each Station rotation will last 15 minutes with 5 minutes to switch Stations. Team members are expected to be located in a private space with reliable high-speed internet access while completing the Practicum. Teams can discuss Practicum questions via Zoom while answering questions within a Station. Teams will be sent a link to each station's activity/questions via a Google Form as the time is set to begin. Each team member will have access to the Google Form for each station and should submit at the end of each station. Team members should divide up sections of each station and clearly communicate to avoid more than 1 answer per team for a question (if 2 different answers for 1 question are provided, points will be deducted). Should a question or concern arise, a team can ask their moderator who would then connect with the Practicum Host for clarification. No outside materials (books, notebooks, internet, non-team members, etc) are permitted during the Practicum. Participants may have blank paper and a calculator to assist with calculations.

Practicum will be virtually hosted and presented by NC State University Department of Animal Science and Prestage Department of Poultry Science.
