Hello and welcome to 4th North! My name is Maya. My pronouns are she/her/hers. I am a graduate of North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC. I am currently working to obtain my Master's in Higher Education at Appalachian State University. My passions are in social equity and justice in education. I am a founding community coordinator. Most of my time on campus is spent reading, advising the yearbook committee, or working with clubs I sponsor. My son, Mayson, is also a resident of our hall. He's 9 years old and a hopeful future dragon. I look forward to taking care of each of the students on hall as well as encouraging them with a smile, positive attitude, and a bright spirit. Hi friends! So excited to be your RLA this year! Im originally from Granville county but recently relocated to Charlotte. I enjoy crafting, reading, listening to music and hanging out with friends. I LOVE pho and chicken tenders with buffalo sauce. I'm a super social person and pretty friendly. PLEASE don't be afraid to reach out to me or Sophia about ANYTHING!

Hey y'all! I'm so ready to make this a great year! I'm from Wilmington, and I enjoy baking, reading, listening to music, and going to the beach.
